Our FBA chapter is hosting a Law Day event in conjunction with the Johnson County Bar Association on May 1 at the Johnson County Courthouse. All local lawyers and judges are invited! We will have judges speaking about the 2026 Law Day theme of the Rule of Law, and we are inviting lawyers to retake their oath of admission as an attorney and commitment to the U.S. and state Constitutions. We are also inviting students to attend and will have a mixer afterwards for students to meet with lawyers and judges as well as a book fair to give away civic education books.
