The U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas invites you to A Conversation with Federal Judges For Civil and Bankruptcy Practitioners. The purpose of this event is to give local attorneys, who are members of the federal bar in Kansas, an opportunity to get acquainted with our federal judges and to provide a forum to discuss issues of importance to those practicing civil and bankruptcy law. Complimentary CLE credit will be available to attorneys admitted to the bar in Kansas and Missouri. Lunch will be served beginning at 11:30.

Parking: Handicapped parking is available in the lot on the southwest corner of 3rd and Main. Visitor parking is available at the City of Wichita Parking Lot, 1/2 block west of the 3rd and Main Street intersection. There are also parking meters located south and east of the courthouse.

The YMCA parking lot to the east of the courthouse is for YMCA patrons only and you may be towed.

SECURITY INFORMATION: Cell phones and other electronic devices are allowed in the building only if you have a current bar registration card and a photo ID. In order to avoid delays at the security checkpoint, we recommend that you do not bring electronic devices with you unless it is absolutely necessary.

The judges are most interested in addressing questions you might wish to raise. While questions given to the panel of judges the day of the luncheon are always welcome, we are making an effort to get questions beforehand to make the discussion as informative as possible. We would appreciate your submitting questions in advance via Signup Genius or by e-mailing them to Jamie_Haig@ksd.uscourts.gov.
